About Ali
My passions are people and nature! My career in 5 element acupuncture weaves the 2 of these together beautifully. I believe nature to be a wild and wise teacher and a portal into understanding human beings at a deeper level.

For many summers throughout college and the years following, I led wilderness therapy back packing trips through remote areas of Connecticut, Virginia and Colorado for youth at risk. The impact that I saw nature have on these young human beings was true magic. My training in the western medical world as a cardiac RN, has given me an in depth understanding of the body and how it works. However, after many years of working a cardiac nurse, I found that I was craving to care for people in a less hurried, more holistic way.
I had always dreamed of becoming an acupuncturist. I had received my own personal benefits from it over the years for things including balance in mood, decrease in anxiety, more clarity in my life decisions, pain relief for various injuries and complete elimination of chronic sinus infections. When I discovered the classical 5 element style I was incredibly inspired to finally pursue my life long dream.
